"What goes around, comes around!" That is the motto for the life and music of James Palace. After spending some time away living life, he is happy to be writing and producing new songs again. He has been fortunate to work with many great musicians in his career as well as legendary producer Stephan Galfas on many projects. He is a student of life's experiences and the lessons that come from them and that is reflected in his songs.

James Palace Bio

From his early beginnings playing the famed New York rock clubs CBGB's and Great Gildersleeves to his career working as an artist/producer/songwriter, James Palace has experienced the music business in all of it's creative glory.
James attracted the attention of former Atlantic Records President Doug Morris with a demo and that led to his collaboration with legendary producer, Stephan Galfas. Together with British lead vocalist Dave Taggart, they produced an album of James's songs entitled, "Brave New World."
This led to other production collaborations with Stephan including: Japanese rock band EZO - "Fire, Fire" for Geffen Records; 3 albums with Swiss rock band China, including "Sign In The Sky" which was certified Gold in Switzerland; "Go All The Way" and "China Live", all for Vertigo/Phonogram; and Electric Light Orchestra Part II - "One Night Live In Australia", which was recorded live with the Sydney Orchestra.
In addition to those and other projects, James also produced the highly regarded metal classic from the Kentucky based progressive hard rock band Lethal entitled "Programmed" for Metal Blade/Warner Bros.
In addition to writing the 10 songs that appeared on "Brave New World", James has shared songwriting credits on all 15 songs on the China - "Go All The Way" CD as well as 4 songs on the EZO - "Fire, Fire" CD including the classic song, "Nightcrawler."
After an interesting and eventful hiatus away from the scene, James is excited to be writing and creating again and he looks forward to collaborating on future projects. As he has lived and learned, he has come to appreciate the motto, "what goes around, comes around."
